many bike riders here use them as helmets, but doing so illegally unless they sign a release so the county will not be stuck with the bill when they wreck I always enjoy seeing artifacts from war equipment

Allot of armies still base theirs on this design.. They always said the Germans the best stuff, just not enough of it! Good shot mate, thanks Rob P.S. I always thought the 'Tommies' was a bit 'wrongly' shaped didn't seem to cover the ears at all!
