Description

Captured 4/23/15 @ 7:52 am, about half a mile from home. Loverly ground cover in front of the round bricked enclosure. The white plants are Dusty Millers, but I don't know what the red flowers are. Actually, the driveway entrance is just to the right of this beautiful floral and brick setup. Center Pointe Villas is one of two senior citizen complexes within a quarter mile of each other. Pozegnanie.

That's a gorgeous entry garden; I can't be certain without a closer view, but I think the red ones might be those little begonias, although I've never seen them so full and vibrant like this. Kudos to the gardeners who did this! And a fantastic capture by you!

Begonias I might've guessed (though probably would've been guessing), but "Dusty Millers"? I didn't even KNOW there was a flower called Dusty Miller. (My plant knowledge is pitiful.) But in any case, I agree with the above, you brought out the greens, the yellows (in the greens), the dusty whites, and the reds, with real contrast and clarity; and for a patch of an entry way, it feels quite big and regal in these shots. Nice light on the brick wall too. I keep mentioning this 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. time---it's just that you did so much in the earlier hours, and now we get to see your eye with slightly later hours, and it's a whole other light and a whole other feeling---and you capture it so strongly. A vivid shot with beautiful contrasts in hue and texture.
