Description

This shot is taken from the original road on the hill near our home. My grandfather was driving on this road with his old Fort C. :-) It was a challenge to drive up the hill with that car. He had to speed it up to full speed and hope he could get up to the top without running backward again. It happened once I was a little girl and my father borrowed my grandfathers car. We had to try severel times, before we finally came over the top :) Later, I will share the view from the top of the hill on the original road. Have a beautiful new week, We have had peaceful rain most of the day, but late afternoon the sun came back, but it has been pretty cold today. Around 6 C. Thank you for viewing and commenting :)

This is gorgeous and full of so many details! I love the glimpse into local life, especially with your story! What really grabs me are the symbols on the post! I have no clue what they mean, but I suspect they're instructions put there to tell crows where to fly, where to land, and where to poop on cars. The farm house itself is amazing, and those trees are massively impressive. This is a wonderful shot! I need to visit a place like this!
