Description

This Western Meadowlark was cooperative. Stayed on the branch of this bush for quite a long time. I was actually going to photograph two Swainsons Hawks when I saw this Meadowlark. I took several shots before going closer to the Hawks. After I got lots of shots of the hawks, I headed back to my truck. The Meadowlark was still singing his heart out. I got as close as 10 ft before he finally flew. Lots of very good shots.
