Description

A view over the spit, where I have my home. View to the Old Harbour Village, just behind the white phone Antenna to the right. When I was a child, there were only a few trees in this whole spit. Most of it were fields with Asparagus, seed, turniops and potatos or just Moorland with purple silk grass, Beach Roses, Dogroses and Blackberry, wild flowers and heather. Now. half of it is Summerhouses and all their trees and yet, there are still wild caprifolium, Beach roses, Broom and Hawthorn and a little willow schrub. But, seen from this Hill, it looked a whole lot higher at that time, because the trees not yet had added a new "Layer" to the spit. If you are interested to see how it looked before, you can see a sketch, my late uncle made with watercolor HERE Have a great week. The sun is setting now but all day was beautiful, sunny and peaceful. Thank you for viewing and commenting. :-)

Have just had a look at this wonderful view in full screen Helle, nice to see where you live. If this was in the UK this field would probably be covered in solar panels producing a different kind of current !! (Currant)

Tonnes of green in this pic, but, oh my, after going through a couple dozen interpretations of the word, spit, I finally found the one that would apply to your fine photograph: a section of land that extends into a body of water. Now I get it. Why didn't I know that? In any event, a cool POV to display the well manicured rows of plants mentioned in your narration. Sorry, but I never heard of half of them.
