Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

Oh I've seen teabags like these, and I love them. But I've NEVER seen any that looked like this! I love what you did to these. (Poor chaps.) They're almost like potato chips. (Crisps? I don't know what you call them in the UK.) Or an acrobatic act made with leaping pancakes. And you did this 'light' thing, where light peeks through in a few spots, like there's a really intense light behind them. And in this treatment, they appear to be unfolding in air. Nice job! Terrific transformation...I love how you mess with 'stuff' and turn it into a whole new way of seeing things. It's like this is what those round teabags do when everyone's asleep...

I love the wonderful modern art creation you made from these artistically arranged teabags. Thanks for sharing your talent for taking ordinary everyday items and turning them into fantastic artwork. :)

Or some segmented creature that has invaded your kitchen. I often use these type as well. What a creative presentation. Really well done.

Fantastic work, when I first looked at these I thought it was flowers then even the attached tea bags I had to look at twice to see it was not flowers, great illusion created in this one, love it!
