these two roll cloud shots are knockouts, Richard, and only someone from your state, Oklahoma, or who's been in the central Midwest can relate to skies like this. The 'squall' line, or whatever it's called (ie, where the light blue folds-under and becomes a deep mean-blue) is beautifully captured, and the ground is suffocated by a nighttime darkness, alleviated by that eerie daylight one always sees to the side of these monster clouds. And your tilt is perfect for the shot. Years back, when a New York friend came to Chicago, we drove into the countryside and saw one of these clouds come towards us; and he said: "Yikes! How the hell do you LIVE here? I'm scared s___less!" "I am too," I said, "but you get used to it." He didn't take his eyes off that cloud the whole time we rode. Terrific shot. A real knockout.

This reminds me of the scene in Independence Day where the alien spaceship came out of the cloud over New York. Are you sure there's not a giant UFO hiding in there? :-D A spectacular shot of this phenomenon, Richard!

First time I see it, though I've heard about it. Nice photo. It looks like it's following the highway as if going somewhere (or just havin' fun, spooking drivers). Keep up the good work! :-)
