Description

Back in the 1950s, there was a genre of science fiction movies in which insects grew to gigantic proportions due to atomic radiation. This is my take on that type of story. Virtually everything in this render - save for the M4 skeletons - is available for free at sharecg. Post-work in GIMP and Lo-Fi. Enjoy!

And there was one were a human who grew to minuscule proportions thanks to a accidental radiation exposure -- "The Incredible Shrinking Man." More than 50 years later, it's still a powerful and poetic film. As for the giant insects, the first one I saw at age 9 or 10 was "Rodan." It was good for about a week of nightmares, but hasn't stood up to the test of time like "Shrinking Man." Great render, bringing back all kinds of memories!
