died from troathcancer,
her youngest (step) brother, that's me) can't stop smoking

Yes we do not learn from what happen before us we still think it must have been something else I do hope and pray that Trudie is in the arms of the Lord Hope that you stay safe for many years

Great scan of the old photo. Sorry about her eventual fate, but how many knew about the devastating effects of smoking back in the mid Twentieth century?

Excellent clarity in Trudie's old photo! I gave up smoking March 5, 1964. Uitstekende helderheid in oude foto Trudie's! Ik gaf met roken 5 maart 1964.
