Then you need me to help keep you warm tonight., Vivian said.
I'm warm enough by myself Vivian. Please, just let me be tonight. Tick pleaded.
You would think that I am an ugly old maid the way that you treat me, Tick, Vivian said sadly.
You are far from ugly Vivian and age has little meaning here. Besides I treat you with the utmost respect!, Tick stated.
Maybe just too much respect, try to relax my love. Come, sit here on the bed with me., Vivian purred.
I think not Vivian, not tonight! Tell, you what, I'll make you a deal, if you leave me alone tonight., Tick said.
And what is that my dear?, Vivian purred as she got off the bed and Tick a precautionary step back.
The Sorcerer's Ball is coming up and I'll be your date for it. You will have my undivided attention that evening, how is that?, Tick asked.
Oh, really, you're not just saying that, Vivian asked and quit stalking Tick.
If I'm lying you can do whatever you want with me., Tick said.
Very well my love, it's a date, Vivian stated as she skipped out of the room and Tick fell back onto the bed.

Oh, there is a whole slew of social stereotypes being addressed here. You go, Tick, ol' boy. I've always disliked the the notion that the man has to be some mindless raging stallion all the time. If the woman says no and the man keeps perusing, then he's just being a proper man, though a cad. But if the man says no, well, he must be gay or something wrong with him.

Nice, pleasant room scene, but how about a carpet on the floor? The painting above the fireplace looks great, by the way! This Tick sure knows how to tick gals off (hence his name, I guess :P ). He's cold as a clam. Then again, Vivian might have been pursuing him too hard for his liking. :P
