Description

The Limpkin in an endagered water bird that likes to hang out in South Florida. This mother was hunting for snails to feed to her young.

Thanks everyone. This is more or less a snapshot with a composition I thought worthy to share. There is an odd flare in the water reflections, but I am not sure what caused it.

Nicely composed nature capture and there seems to be a bloom effect happening...from the sunlit grass ? So, that's were they got the name for the band, a water bird...they could have done a lot worse ! ~Cheers~

OMG, TwoPynts!!! From out of the distant past comes our Kort to post another one of his masterful photos. This is a splendid capture of an extraordinary waterfowl, especially with that long snout, of which I had never even heard of or seen before. Terrific color, clarity, lighting and reflection all wrapped up in this package. Miss your infrareds though.
