Description

"Boy At Pond" There seemed to be some interest in the statues of children located at the Wichita, KS, Library, Zoo, and Botanical gardens the last time I posted them. I call this one, located at the Zoo, "Boy At Pond." The posing on this statue seems to be especially natural and life-like. Thanks for visiting my gallery and your comments.

I think these type of statues ARE really neat...I think we have some around downtown San Diego...been a LONG time since I went to our Zoo, but seems I remember when they were going to put some up...of "natural looking/posed people"... I love this one especially, captures a young boy so perfectly!
