Thank you for your kind & cheeky comments on my last post. Another 21 years before I get a pension, I'll have you know!!
I gave up trying to straighten this shot, horizon or trees - who knows!! Shot on a walk in Calke Park, Derbyshire, last Wednesday.
Part "deux" to follow :)
Thanks for looking & have a great weekend,
~Steve~
Subject is slap bang in the middle, in case you were wondering :)

Beautiful, the purple wildflowers in the mix of shadows & sunlight are what really stand out to me. I don't think this needs straightening - it has a very natural feel to it as is - but I find that Photoshops Warp tool works very nicely for me when I do feel the need to straighten things...

Nice one Steve. @17 mm we should expect some convergence, I always find it easier to leave it, straightening wide angle convergence is not easy! There's always a pay off here and there. This looks great as is mate!

Great combination of colours and contrasting light.

The light/shadow on the trunk and the flowers is stunning, and those atmospherically threatening clouds behind are quite dramatic. I zoomed and zoomed, and I think I saw a squirrel, but he must have watched the Pythons' "How not to be seen" segment and is practicing. Doing pretty well at it too, I must say!

don't straighten it! it is fantastic like it is! what a special and mystical mood and the shadows makes it alive! and you are showing opposites: in front the peace and in the background the dramatic and miracle! gorgeous! ;o)
