Description

I have been helping create models for the upcoming Star Wars Fan Film " Star Wars: A Rising Threat". http://risingthreat.weitech.com.au/ The director asked if I could model an actor's head so they could do some CGI effects. This is what I've come up with after about 3-4 weekends worth of work in modelling, remodeling, and texturing.

I'm not a professional. Though one day I hope to be. I need to work on the model a bit (some smoothing problems around the nose-lower the specularity in the eyes, etc.), adjust the lighting, and see if I can model the hair.

it looks great, but as usual u need to add actual fuzz for his facial hair i don't think a texture will cut it, and you really need to work on his nose, his ears also, they are too flat against his head compaired with the refrence photo. but it looks like a few more weekends and you might have a pretty realistic looking model. Great job!

Nice model ;-) I would suggest to add diffuse and bump maps with that photo, and also use textures with a bit more resolution. Anyway great work ;-)

I think its a good start, even though I think 3-4 weeks is a bit too much. But go on I think you are on the right way, but I think the model is far from beeing finished.
