Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

So, this is the first pic I've seen of your oft mentioned Marcos, depicted carefully balanced atop a rock, observing the lovely river on the go. Terrific ambience in this shot, Maz.

He looks like he fits right in. Nice shot of the river and great composition.

A delightful photo with Marcos.

So nice to see Marcos, and he looks so pensive peering over the rock into the river. Your composition is real Marilyn stuff, with a tree right in the middle, giving a wholly unexpected accent. And marcos is on one side and the tree/bush on the other...with the river behind it all, with its white caps and that deep green. It's a beautiful shot, and it has real activity, even though marcos is quiet and reflective. Another fine river shot from you.
