I as admiring Scrib's render and trying to remember the name of the Japanese sub that carried airplanes and here it is, thank you. Not entirely impossble but if the technology devepment had turned out differently Pacific carrier actions could have been between a fleet of I-400 vs USS Akron which is very weird tought. Excellent work, great sea texture.

Beautiful model of an amazing submarine. Another "too late" wonder weapon that could have entirely changed the course of the conflict. Timing is everything! Great job.

Too little too late. Besides, the mission, to take out the Panama Canal could have been easily done via sabotage. Just sink boats or even ships full of diesel soaked fertilizer in Gatun lake next to the dams and set them off. Blow the dams and the canal is out for the count. (Done in the wee hours of the night, of course.) The mission would have to have been set up before the attack on Pearl harbor, but ships using the canal traverse Lake Gatun, so it could have been done.

Good shot. Where did the I400 come from, did you make it?
