Description
Captured 5/10/15 @ 10:56 am, at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum, adjacent to the beautiful California State University Fullerton, in beautiful Fullerton, California.
It was intensely chewing away at something or other when I came upon the scene. I have a few more shots of this rodent guy squirreled away in my arboretum folder.
Have a nice day.

It's really nice to see a bunch of comments, but it's too bad that your slimy eye-of-newt lava-spill in front of a dental office didn't get as many; they're both wonderful shots! I guess you can't beat squirrels to attract viewers. I agree with denise about the shot and those great feet: They're bonier than I remember, and you caught them very well, And you got his posture perfectly. Squirrels have amazing facility with their backs---how they arch them so highly, and still retain balance. And you caught the squirrel-eating phenomenon to a tee. The intense concentration, huddled over his food. The comedian Eddie Izzard imitated a squirrel, with the same intense chewing, and he said, "and then the squirrel suddenly looks up---stunned---as if to say: 'Wait: Did I leave the GAS on???'" But the next second, they dive back into their food...Wonderful capture of what squirrels do most; and the harmony of tones and even textures, between squirrel and bench, shows how well animals can blend into their environs.
