Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

So lovely! I think I should be tempted to paint this house some colour which shows off the flowers!

It looks quite happy, and will soon engulf the house completely!

Duuude! That's a big mother-freakin' plant! That's the rose bush that ate Cleveland---BIG plant. You got the big sweep of the flowers, and the shade on the house, and that deep red paint with the deep green trim. And the nature behind it all, with a strong obliterating sky. Exciting shot, Marilyn. It must be cool inside, because that tree brings shade! A big burgeoning shot of a beautiful member of the plant kingdom.
