got a new friend yesterday. this is part 1

It's a Match Pistol from Springfield Arms. I will use it mainly for target practice as well as personal defense, especially when out in the woods.
the round is a 9mm Luger. and I did a touch of digifiddling
I know that there will be some of you who will not like the idea of guns of any type, and I will defend your right to believe that way.

Really cool digifiddling, Mike! I may have to fiddle with a few of these myself... I used to have an inert 20mm round a few years ago - don't know what became of it... A gun is like any other tool. It has no brain, no conscience, and no preconceptions or prejudices. It does exactly what the operator behind the controls tells it to do.

As long as you use it safely then you should have no problem. I just got back from the states where I got to a firing range with a friend who has a weapons collection and got to shoot some of his pistols it was definitely a cool experience.
