Description

"Cast not a clout till May be out" A traditional English saying. There is always a discussion about whether this means when the Hawthorn actually flowers, or when the month finishes and turns to June. In the UK it could be either! I am still wearing a mohair pullover and 4 layers some days, and yet spent several April afternoons in shorts and T shirt! BTW I never noticed this pink pollen before on the May flowers.

i thought it was to do with casting your clothes but was told it was about the May tree??? I am still wearing plenty of clothes but I can be cold in summer :o))))
