Hello,
My name is Paul-John Novak, Jr. and I am a traditional/digital amatuer comic creator. My original comics universe is called Coolstar Comics. It started out way back in 1992 when I was in middle school with the creation of my first team of heroes, the "Super-Mutant Nine" made out of my love for characters such as the "TMNT" and "X-Men" at the time. From there I began creating my own comics and more and more characters until at this point in time I have a universe of over 1,000 characters to work with. I didn't start actively sharing these creations until around 2010 though as I did not have the means to do so due to time, money and technological constraints. But, now that I am able to do so, I have begun creating character bios for all of the characters that I have created and have been slowly working on finishing a comic called "Unlimited Evil" that I started as my first serious attempt at a webcomic to share with the world. Renderosity is just one of many places that I post my art to, and although it is not as organized as many of the others, I enjoy the extra exposure that it affords me all the same. Thanks for visiting my gallery here and I hope that you enjoy my work. If you would like to see my galleries on other sites please check out the links below.

Nice job!!! Great Bio!!! Keep up the good work, though you really need to consider letting some of the info about your characters come out in a story. It's neat having all this info about someone, but unless you're working on a HUGE graphic novel that we know nothing about, the characters just fade away with no interaction. Quite honestly, I'd have to go to your gallery to look up her twin sister again because I don't remember her. ...if you've even posted her yet! The reader needs to become invested in the characters through a story line that either evokes thoughts and emotions for or against a character. Good Characters can be bad while bad characters can be good depending on the circumstances! Your readers never get involved in your world the way that it's being done now. I don't want to tell you your business, but those are just my thoughts. You have such wonderful ideas and a great imagination. Do the story!!! You've already got a cast of characters!!! Let your readers know what you see in your imagination through the story! :) 5+++

I've posted her sister yesterday, and I have been doing an ongoing web comic. I have to admit that this site isn't exactly the best place for showing all of my character bios or even the pages of the comics, and honestly it's just one of many places that I do post all of this with several of the others being much better to showcase my work, but I post here all the same to get the most exposure that I can. The character bios are indeed supposed to just be supplemental to actually involving the characters in the actual stories that I will one day make for all of them. There is no difference to what I am doing that what Marvel or DC has done with their universal handbook guides. Just think of all of these character bios as sneak peaks into the faces of my universe. I truly understand that no one will probably remember half of them, and I can't show them all at once in my comics, but when I do, they will be in all of my various galleries wherever I post this stuff for readers to look back upon to get a better feel for who they all are. Everything that I have done so far is a work in progress that I have been doing for years, but haven't had the time or technology to share until the last several years when I began posting online, and will continue to be so as I honestly have just begun to scratch the surface of everything. As noted above, this site isn't exactly the best for showcasing my work with it's one post a day restrictions and lack of structure in the galleries, which is why it's really just a bit of extra exposure for me and not much more, but I will continue to post here all the same as every little bit helps.
