I read your comment to Lars' Memorial, and it was wonderful, Giuliano. You discovered the deep riches of Lars' art. Even I---who had seen many of Lars' images---learned many new things about him, when I saw the Memorial. You did a beautiful pastiche of Lars' motifs, here! The stairway to heaven (ala his final image...but also in other images). The guitars/music. The traveler who greets the universe like an eternal child. The arches---here half invisible. (Lars' studied architecture, and he was a stone/brick mason. So he used architectural forms throughout his images.) The Big beautiful sky and mountain landscape. And the dog---because Lars loved dogs. Your guitars are transparent: They have a mystical feeling---also something Lars would love. This image is all "Giuliano," but it has so many Lars elements. It's a beautiful tribute to Lars, so observant and loving. I'll return to your gallery soon (to make more comments), but I wanted to tell you how much I loved this tribute. You caught the essence of Lars perfectly. And the very top of your image has lace ornaments---roses, maybe?---that give the image its final "grace". Beautifully done, and a beautiful homage to a fellow artist.
