Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

Outstanding work

As always, fine work. There are many who are no longer here.

Yes, I can understand you really well. Indeed, it is very disheartening if one writes many comments, but even no remark agrees. So that does not discourage such a thing me, I have made to myself a rule. If I comment three times on an artist and then no feedback agrees from him, then I also do not comment. But I am only twice per week here in the forum, but if I am there, I comment on the works of the "faithful" Of course it gives artist, them every day, or even two pictures per day upload. I can comment on that of course not everybody because I come, otherwise, the whole day to nothing and my work remains lying... So, now to your picture... A wonderful and very atmospheric work. In it everything is right. The actress, the poses, the light and above all the Environment!

Thanks for your support, my friend!

I've always been a long time Jean_C fan and I thank you for your art and time. I also have seen many of my friends and fine artists leaving Rendo for one reason or another over the years, yet I hold on. I hope you are not another my friend. I would miss your wonderful nature photos and fun story idea's... :(

Thank you, my friend!

Wonderful scene and atmosphere you have created here, Jean, as always of very high quality, I try every day to comment in galleries, but because of poor eyesight, I can not sit at the computer for very long, so sometimes it can take several days before I comment, but I will return :))))**

I agree with you, I have noticed the same. For me you're one of the best artists here and I really enjoy it, to look at your pictures. But I think with us it is based on reciprocity. Get on with it!

I forgot, the image is fantastic. Very dark mood and a bit sad, it seems to reflect your current feeling.

Thank you very much for your words, my friend!

Wonderful work!!!

Another fine piece....don't get discouraged. A few quality comments are better than many by people who have merely glanced at your work and haven't even seen it at full-size.I don't have the time to comment on everything I see here at Renderosity. And I imagine others are as busy as I am.

fantastic scene and wonderful atmsphere/mood. I agree RR is withering.

Really fantastic image! Wonderful character and superb lighting. I agree totally with your comments. Relationships (of any kind) are a two way street. They need to provide a benefit going both ways. I love seeing your wonderful artwork, and reading your comments about my images. Excellent image and words!
Jean_C
Thanks for your words!

Your creation shows you state of mind and I feel the very same way as you do. The RR system has become very slow and we have lost about a 100 great artists in the past few years. I made a list of missing artists. It is so sad because some of the best are gone or infrequent contributors. I am also going to do as you mentioned about commenting! Thank you for standing tall.

Thanks for your support, my friend!

Firstly, haunting scene and atmosphere, maybe also symbolic...if she uses the Fury Sword on those Artists who only think of themselves...? Yeah, I agree Rendo has almost lost that community spirit, but you shouldn't let those Artists influence your decisions, so keep posting, just to give them the shits and your real friends will always be here for you no matter what you decide to do...but, please don't let them win ! ~Cheers~
Jean_C
Lol for the symbolic interpretation, but there will be a following image, and perhaps... lol! Thanks for your support!

Apologies Jean, this image got past me. I too feel your pain. Religiously I comment on all the images of the people I have chosen to put on my favourites list. Because I work away sometimes it's hard to respond on the day of release, but then I will spend hours commenting on each one banked up in my inbox. Sometimes I wonder why I bother posting images on Rosity, very few of the people whom I have followed over the many years bother to look or comment. Even more disturbing is the consistency, I know I still have room for improvement, but when trying to submit products for the marketplace they get rejected almost immediately. Then I look at the new releases to find them flawed with the very reasons my products were rejected. I really enjoy my hobby of 3D art and modelling, and at the end of the day I do this for myself (although a bit of recognition doesn't go astray). Jean, do not let them break you, as a true friend, we have your back. For we are truly friends who speak through images. Cheers, from a friend across the cybernetic void.

Thank ypu very much, my friend, for your words and support!

The atmosphere and mood are remarkable, great character, splenid image! I fully agree, that the practice of returning comments is fair. But, as any practice, it may go wrong too. Some artists just paste the same general comment from the clipboard and this way cover a lot more artists so as to have many comments in return. I do not like that. I prefer the principle "less is more". And there is one serious problem with our commenting. We all are too polite. I hate to see "outstanding work!" under a bad image. I am polite too, so why not find something interesting in the image to note? And, after all, why not just say about evident image problems?
Jean_C
I totally agree with you about the copy/paste of comments, it's sure there is some dysfunction in the practice of comments! I agree too for the idea that we are too polite, but personnaly I don't think I can judge an artwork even it is not really perfect, and with my bad english, I might be unintentionally offensive to artists, that would not be a good thing! And personally, I already had critques on expressive choice I made to create an image ... but it was my own freedom! I think this problem is very complicated !! Anyway, thanks for your answer to this discussion!
