These insects are very wary and so i was thrilled to get a couple of good pics with my little point and shoot. Stour Valley Way, Bournemouth A better picture of the whole insect. Another showing the wings well

I have never heard of this one. It looks like it was put together by a committee. God must have had a hangover when he created this guy. Part grasshopper, part butterfly, a stunning image.
