thx for the info about the page...nice modells there...but i wanted to create my own look...not to much panels and cables around it...but i dont no either how i proceed with my spaceship-modelling

On the contrary, you should develop your space hardware however you see fit - with or without star wars-style greebles or toyish blue stripes. One of the best resources a sci-fi artist can have are the Terran Trade Authority books: http://www.geocities.com/%7Ebanksp/Rec/TTABooks/TTABooks.html They're hard to find but worth it. They're '70s era space art by Angus McKie and Jim Burns and the like, and include plenty of spacecraft with blue stripes - as well as red, and yellow, and orange, and...
