Description

Just playing with Octane Shaders to improve the look of the hair and to make it react realistically to backlighting. Still a work in progress and I think that there will be a new version of the Octane Render for Carrara plugin soon which will allow colour variation in the base colour, which will improve matters even more. I hope you like this and can put up with my endless experiments! Phil

Wow, that works really well! A fine experiment, and a fine portrait on its own. (Since the last update, I can't work with hair in Carrara at all. Existing stuff works okay but attempting anything in the editing room with new hair just crashes Carrara to the desktop.)

That sounds bad, I wouldn't want to lose my ability to edit hair!
