I remember your Mozart image, and this one is as delightful as that one was...only, here, you have a more packed scene, with children, two dancing couples, and a pianist (of course). I saw a video of the song, and it's delightful; but the lyrics only refer to Chopin fleetingly...but your image evokes the milieu that Chopin lived in, and no doubt the feelings that his music evoked during his lifetime. (As you may know, Chopin played mostly in salons---rather than in concert halls---and his music evoked very strong emotions in his listeners. I can tell you, as one who has played lots of Chopin, years back, he could torture pianists, making us twist and turn our hands, make impossible leaps, keep our balance while he makes us do acrobatics all over the keyboard...for all the serenity and beauty of his music, he demanded great powers from the pianist...his technique, when he was alive, was stunning, not to mention his exquisite music). Whoever's playing the piano in your image is enjoying him/herself immensely (Chopin, in real life, was a dark brooding person.) And the dancers are filled with courtliness and grace. This is beautifully composed, with the interior going back on an angle, and the action taking place on both sides of that angle. And a sweet frontal display of dancers and children, forming a line, as if this were a dance performance. It's lit beautifully too, with delicate peach tones throughout. Another fine musical evocation from you, Ute. Beautifully done.

Btw (in sweet memory), Lars loved scenes like this, as you know---the elaborate decoration, the sharply defined architectural interior, the expressive lighting, always music, always music, and the sense of a huge world unfolding inside the interior. I know this is your image all the way---I recognize so many of your artistic choices by now. But it did remind me of Lars, whose presence still lives inside us all...

Sehr schönes Bild... ------------------------- Nun...
