Description

This flower is a Campanula persicifolia (peach-leaved bellflower) on a vine that has a thin brown bark. It could be in the Morning Glory family. Flowers are about 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. Best viewed in zoom. Thank you for the ID Maria and Mies. I have returned from the other side and bought a new Canon. Just could not put up with the Nikon that I bought last summer. Glad that I bought the extra insurance and warranty. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

This is beautiful. My curiosity is piqued because I do not know what it is either, I looked online for a whileand it does look somewhat like a morning glory, but I did not find any examples with a lovely stamen like that. I must favorite this and keep checking to see if Denise identifies it,,,, and well also just maybe because I have a hard time resisting a gorgeous flower photo.... hehehe. Thanks for sharing. :)

They look a lot like baloon flowers but that's not a vine.
