Description

I done this last night and used numerous lights. I darkened most of lights to avoid the seams from disappearing. what do you think?

I actually like the muted lights, stronger shadows and reflections.

I think you are on the right path, Sometimes too many lights from all directions will do that, and tightening raytrace shadows down to 0 will bring back some of your seams...I am far from being an expert, just my thoughts.

Looks really good, Richard! Cars / trucks can be a challenge to light - good job here!

Nice work! Possible high ambient and/or reflection settings on the red and white parts and none on the grey and black. Like others I'm not sure but there does seem to be ultra high contrast between those materials regardless of lights used.

Looks nice. But the surface seems to be too uniform (a bit dull). And more blue (a bit purplish), darker could be better perhaps - but it's just my taste.

Looks nice, but if you enjoy car render, you should give a try with the new Daz 4.8 ;) - you can get a car looking like if it was an Ad from a magazine, and done in less than 1 hour.
