Description

This is my first (and very likely last !) image finished in DAZ studio 4.7 I thought id give the iray render a try out , as alwayss for me even finding stuff was hard i eventually found the sonemason folder browser through the poser files in DAZ .the iray lights I bought well thats anothe $10 down the drain i get error messages about missing files so I dont know if they produce better results or not.The render took exactly 2 hours which I thought seemed a bit long when I have a geforce titan graphics card I thought it would be much quicker.I think I will go back to vue and leave DAZ to those much better at it than me. Thanks for taking time to have a look and thanks for any comments

I'm just starting in IRAY and it WILL take awhile to learn to dial in the lights correctly but I have had some promising results. I don't know why it took your render so long for such a simple scene. Adding skin tones and transparency materials is what really ups the time, not normal surfaces. You do such great work in Vue I see no reason to transfer to a different software, IMHO! (LOL)

Daz is practical for some uses (for ex characters) but, if you want to integrate different suffs in a personal worlds... Vue! I think it is the richest software when you want to shape your dreams. Interessant image but not my favorite kind!
