Description

This is wayyyy old---I did it freehand in my 'fake-document' days. It's sloppy, ok? But I just wanted to share the fun I had. (I lost nearly all of these over the years...) Bows to Saul Steinberg, who made fake documents better than anyone. Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll get to all of you this week Mark (again, better details, zoomed)

What a hoot! More of your long suppressed talents come to the fore with this faked rendition of a 19th century document, Mark, definitely showing its age. As a Municipal Bond, does this fall within an obscure arena of counterfeiting? And, the scrawly signatures remind me of my shaky handwriting.

Stunning work! I love fake documents and this one is a winner in my book; it's absolutely authentic in appearance and it has that nice "officially aged" look; I get the impression this was signed and made all official on a desk that smells of furniture polish and ink, and it was signed and stamped, dated and everything else on one of those green ink-blotters with...well...with blots of ink on it and little accounting notes around the edges. The text is marvelous: that real/not real sort of writing that implies quite a lot of thing, and since my mind goes off in the directions that it tends to go of into, I'm sure there are stories galore in this single image. It's brilliant. I love it.

Mark, this is such a fun and creative idea you came up with. What amazes me most is the level of detail on display here for a document that is fake, this is truly amazing. Of course my first response to your skill at creating fake documents is to say that you could without a doubt make a lucrative living in Washington working for some of the politicians we have there. ( Who am I kidding, 98% of the slimeballs there would be foaming at the mouth over your skill to create fake documents) ;)

Wow, this is a pretty amazing piece of work, Mark. Looks quite authentic and aged. Must have taken a while to create something with so much detail. Fascinating.

This is a very interesting and historical fact! Even now I often need to make documents and especially fake id! When I was under 21 years old and I wanted to visit the club, this service helped me network and I made very good documents quickly and efficiently! If you are looking for such an opportunity, then this is exactly what you need!
