Thank you for visiting my home page! My real name in John Daniels and I am a software developer that has been playing with digital art for about 5 years now. A family member (grafikeer) got me interested in working with 3D models and that was the end of my free time.
It has taken some time to get a handle on the tools, but I feel I am starting to get hang of it. The next step is to dig into the actual modeling aspect. I have a background in Architectual Drafting and working with 3D modeling for structures etc which I plan to leverage in the creation of my own props, clothing and textures.
The DS Meta data packs that I sell are the result of countless hours of learning and playing with my own content to fully understand how the metadata works and how to create is efficiently. I have over 5500 products in my own runtime that now has Smart Content Meta Data. I have been putting together packs that I think make sense and selling them here in the Renderosity Market Place. I picked up ZBrush and I am working on learning how to use it so that I can start creating my own content to publish, I have many ideas, but it will take some time to master the tools needed to bring those ideas to life...

Love the dragon it looks ready for battle

Very well done, the dragon especially! Like the lighting and overall scene, only crit is the ground seems out-of-focus in relation to the figures, which makes them appear to be floating instead of standing on it...minor crit though!

I was trying to create a dust cloud on the ground from the dragon stepping in behind the girl, it didn't work as well as I had hoped... :-(

Marvelous scene and fantastic composition... I love the dragon also !!!

So much horns the Devil won't fight against. Stunning armor's reflections. I suppose the swords are carbon metal plated or she may have strong arms... Well, I agree that in the darkness of some parts of these times, we need some, ready to fight... Well done my friend !

WOW! Very good composition and pose. The detail is awesome! I have one question though, The lighting seems a little bit uniform, making the characters look a little artificial. What if you intensified the shadows and placed the light to one side and slightly behind them? Then add another light opposite and of a faded color and half the shadow intensity of the first? It's a beautiful scene, and it just needs a tweak with the lighting. That's what I have trouble with all the time in my compositions. Ed.

Great suggestions Ed, but this is rendered using a physical render engine, so the only thing I can tweak is the color of the light. The Sun provides the light and shadows, so I can only play with the angle.

Hi it's me again! I have looked a some of your images and I think if you decrease their size they will be better to look at unless your working for some major movie Co. they don't need to be that big. Try this in postwork first Crop out any thing that is of no useto the image like the border the border including your name you it only increases the size of your image you can put your name in the picture or not at all you will notice a decrease in the dimensions but increase in the Size kB that = Higher Resolution now resize/ re-sample the picture from 100% in decreasing Increments Until you reach your optimal resolution. until next time
