Description

We spent a fascinating day at Monkey World, Dorset, at the invitation of the RSPCA who had raised half the money (£56,000) through donations for a new Marmoset house. All the occupants of this new facility are rescues or police confiscations from the UK exotic pet trade, which is growing exponentially through social media. I think this chap is Milo, who was confiscated in Basingstoke. This was the only decent pic of these little people I managed. They, and all their primate cousins, have the highest quality care possible at Monkey World and you can find the answers to all your possible questions on their website.

he's asking, 'Are you the one?' 'Will you be the one?' 'Can you be the one?' Great capture, Andrea! I'm glad that there are places like this

A very inquisitive look on Milo's face and also some nasty claws. I am very happy to see that they are being taken care of so well!

Great picture although I would not want one of them for a pet.

He is a very impressive character. More impressive is the funding for their new home and the saddening realization that folks all over the world keep such animals as pets. Bravo to these folks that rescue them.
