Description
Gosh, I hadn't seen a Jackrabbit in years. So I was pleasantly surprised when I inadvertently rousted this fellow out from wherever he was hiding. I had forgotten how big they are!
Preview very soft, details better in zoom. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

Look how nice he posed for you! 8=) A wonderrful shot, he looks so aware! Here in Gemany they are called Hares and are a bit smaller, i presume. I saw lots of them roam about the fields and meadows this spring.

I rarely get to see these hares as they are open country dwellers. A wonderful photo!

super shot

As Andrea pointed out, we call them hares. They are prolific in March where the males box one another, and run around maniacally, hence the saying here mad as a March Hare. Great shot Tex.

OMG, a great capture of the elusive jackrabbit, Maria, this one with alert eyes and a TV antenna for ears. In fact, that's what the device is called….rabbit ears.
