Description

Just trying to learn how to use Poser 5's new features to my advantage... I'm pretty satisfied with how the implementation of eye reflection (reflecting a picture off of a 2D plane so I didn't have to create a complete environment to test reflections) and refraction (slight difference, but cool to know it works), skin translucency (gives the character a warm, living glow and lightens shadows falling on the skin), power of 2-sized texture map (Greta by the immmortal SteffyZZ, and a temporary solution to a problem that should be fixed with P5-SR2) and backgroud shader (difficult to line up images correctly!)use turned out. The default hair was added as an afterthought because Stephanie didn't look female without it (it's, uh, dyed). Apparently the new P5 features can give us some pretty realistic humans (as long as we don't use Don or Judy 8^). Being the photorealist that I am, the results of this test give me new hope for P5. No postwork.

Most impressed by the eyes, beautiful refraction and reflection. Looks like still a bit weird in the shadows, but that's a very true sunlight light. I hope the texture prob is worked out in the next patch too.
