Encore une belle sirène qui s'échappe de l'océan et qui pourrait pousser au don... Mais c'est Éole qui emporte sur l'explosive écume, ses éthérés voilages à l'horizon...

As I've said before, you have a masterful way of combining people and objects and architecture (etc) via single flowing lines. Here, the woman's gown stretches across space, and it turns-into waves of the sea. Beautifully done, Yves. And the waves have a boat on it, a ship... One of the many benefits of zooming your work is that we get to see your full brushwork, and the texture of your paper/canvas, etc. The brushwork on the ship is actually rich---it's not just "pure blue". The upper sails have darker sails "inside" them. And you've let the texture of your background show through. (It looks like watercolor paper.) And you've given a light blue wash to her gown, and under a few of the waves. This is very nice---you usually use strong single hues; but here you have some light washes, which give a gentle feeling to the image. You do both styles beautifully, btw. It's just rarer to see you use washes. The woman's hair flows in the direction of the water, as does her arm. And her right leg (our left) is wonderfully 'elongated'...it acts as the "anchor" to the whole image. I also love your signature in the lower right corner. A very sweet place for it. (That curve reminds us of Van Gogh's curved signature.) More beautiful work from you, with a very fine use of long white space...you're masterful at this.
