Description

Having tried for many years to get a shot of these animals, I finally have the luck to come across this group. Alas with no camera to hand I used my trusty mobile, which since I sorted its settings out is quite a nifty little camera- even if it doesn't have much in the way of a zoom facility. Nevertheless I was pleasantly surprised when I finally figured out how to get the photos off my phone and onto the computer. Snapped last month whilst out with my son.

Very nice photo, in spite of no zoom. I have one that visits the back yard regularly. We call her Lilly since she's eaten everyone in the yard. I don't have the heart to scare her away. She's been visiting since she was a fawn.

I have also been quietly sneaking up on a deer herd ... Beautiful shot!

Excellent capture and definitely worth the full zoom. I was walking home one night from a bar through a park and a group of deer ran passed me like race cars but near silent. Just the slight hiss of the disturbed air.
