Description
I found these little fern-like fronds growing on the trunk of a tree. I thought they looked like miniature plumes - like the kind of exotic feathers people used to wear in their hats...

Very much like fancy hats. Wondrous shapes to all these fronds and interesting post work!

Wow they do resemble beautiful fine feathers. Great find and gorgeous camera work. The different shapes, style and colors are gorgeous.

I am late commenting again so I get to jst ditto the other remarks. I always enjoy looking at your work even if I do not quite make it to the comments section. Sometimes I just spend too much time here instead of doing things I need to and want to do myself...such as housework, learning Dutch or taking my own photos. But, I always take at least a quick look and enjoy the exceptional talent you and other artists here share on Renderosity. Thanks for all the inspiration and enjoyment.

Again, zoom is essential for your work. In zoom, we can see the furry textures you brought out, and the wonderful drooping array of---well, almost "hands," with many fingers flopping across the image. It could also be sea plants waving in the water currents. Your use of highlights---like snow---and strong hues makes this very vivid. Terrific work, Claude. Once again.
