more outstanding black and white portraiture from you. This man is happy, but you've also shown us his age and his mystery. Those are very deep-set eyes; and his wrinkles show a man who's seen many things in his life. There's sadness in his eyes, and fatigue, along with his happiness. And you use shadow and chiaroscuro quite effectively. (You do marvelous work in black and white!) His bow-tie is a fun accent, with real contrast with the seriousness of his gaze. I also love the wisps of his hair, and how you have much of it in total darkness. Beautifully done. This is an amazing series.
