when you first posted this, I said, "zowie!!!" In zoom, it's a big rush of a shot. The fly is like a helicopter landing on a very complex landform (floating in air). The tilt of the fly, along with its amazing gold light and sheen, makes it look like a flying craft. (Well, it is.) And your capture of the flower and those gritty buds is marvelous, with all that space behind it. This is a huge photo---I mean it feels huge, the background feels cavernous, and the presence of the fly on the flower is almost monumental to me. I'm not exaggerating. It's a terrific shot. (I also love your title, along with Ronnie.) Love this shot.
