either that was some storm or some insects got to it first. In either case it makes a cool photo. :) Thanks for sharing

Beautiful shot ;o) Keep your camera dry!

Superb colors and contrast, excellent capture!
Sea_Dog
Very nice - quite a contrast to the typical perfect flower shot, and I think that's what makes this image noteworthy - you've avoided the cliche'. Well done.

Great clarity, color and lighting effects in this closeup of the poor little guy, having suffered the wet slings and arrow of nature.

lol on not being able to think of anything to say about it ("it's a daisy"). Boy, normally a beaten up flower like this wouldn't be the first choice of a photographer, but you got it shining in deep autumnal yellows and oranges, with visceral folds, a packed center section, and rain drops that make it bristle and come alive. I also really like that you composed it with the flower to the left of center, breaking the natural pull to the center. And those purple branches behind are wonderful accents. The daisy may say "you couldn't have caught me on a better day?" but for us, it's a wonderful shot. This is the kind of daisy Van Gogh would've loved to paint.
