Description
Finaly, after a long time I tried to put a new render on Poser together. To much to do and no time to do it.
But this last monday I thought I might give it a try.
I had seen a nice picture from "Retro Lovely Magazine" on Facebook and wanted to make a poser image based on that photograph.
I looked simple enough, but it took me quit a bit longer than anticipated.
The first night I was looking for a nice car from the fifties. So after an hour browsing on the internet for freebees, I found a nice Chevrolet. I imported it in Poser and rendered it for the first time and discovered it looed nothing like a real car. I needed a nice glossy car. I started to experiment in the material room, I remembered I needed an enverement to reflect. I while ago I read the website of Baggingsbill and he had some nice tips. I loaded his envirement Sphere with a nice IBL and started dialing on the reflection numbers......
Two dozen renders later I had something that looked real enough, I wanted to try a last render and pushed a wrong button an Poser crashed. So at one O' Clock in the night I started all over. At four I finaly was satisfied with my car.
With only four hours left to sleep I went to bed and the next day I tried to put V4 in a nice sexy pose. I only had a few hours, because I was supposed to host a BBQ for some friends. Well it turned out to be a nice evening/night with a few to many drinks. So again not much sleep.
I guess it's not easy for big girls to get nice clothes. The same goes for a pearfigure V4. I found the dress I needed, I spend a lot of time making textures for the clothes and then it did not fit. Tried making it dynamic, but it fell appart. Tried magnets etc. Nothing worked, So in the final render the girl is not as "big" as I intended. She had to go on a diet to fit in that dress. Again a late night.
Yesterday I thought I was ready. The car was nice, the girl looked nice, I just needed the lights and shadows. So again a long day trying. The shadow catcher did work, than not than it turned black, than I started all over, and same thing happened. Some strange artifacts in my renders etc etc.
It took a lot of tweeking, but today I made my final render. Did some postwork in Photoshop and I am realy satisfied.
I hope you are too!
