Description

The farm down the street has 8 new spring calves. So far he has kept the cows with calves separated from the rest. This little guy wandered off and is now crying for Mom. He is about 2 months old now. Finally a zoom lens that actually works. Best viewed in zoom. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. Baby animals are so cute. This is a great shot. The zoom shows a lot of detail. And you really can tell my his expression that he wants his mommie. I hope this little guy's momma came to the rescue soon. Thanks for shring the springtime excitement. :)

Animals can often seem almost human. This calf looks a real cuddly creature. Hope it gets reunited with momma soon. And I'm in full agreement with one of the comments on the first page (sossy) -- the thought of this calf ever meeting the butcher one day would be unbearable to me (I'm 95% vegetarian).
