Description

Another shot of the beautiful Tachinid Fly or Feather-Legged Fly (Trichopoda pennipes). You can just see the feathering on the left rear leg. I haven't seen them since that shrub finished blooming, so was lucky to see him that day. Preview is soft, details better in zoom. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

Excellent angle employed to capture the dazzling effects of color, contrast, focus, patterns and textures in this shot of the Tachinid Fly, Maria. A real winner. You're so fortunate to have such a large array of esoteric creatures to photograph.
