Description
A very young Leatherbug - Harmostes reflexulus.
When fully grown they will be a darker rich brown and very "leathery" looking.

Everyone above seems to know about leatherbugs as if they were as common as the ordinary housefly, and I never even saw or heard of them before - the penalty of living in an insect-free environment. Other than that, a masterful macro of this handsome whitish colored critter, Maria.

Lots of wing details in zoom - he is not that good looking so avoid the face in zoom!!!!!
