Armed and dangerous, this prolific branching tree defends itself well against assaults by errant lawn mowers. As a kid, I discovered those thorns make wicked darts for a soda-straw blowgun! I don't know how many times I got my fingers punctured trying to get them off the tree trunks. Sad they're on the road to extinction. Great shot of them!
