Description

American sculptor Deborah Butterfield melds tree branches into permanent sculptures of equine beauty. She creates the sculptures with wood, and then creates a mold to cast the sculptures in bronze. “Trees reflect their experiences in this world, serve as metaphors for our lives and help define the nature of each horse I build,” said Butterfield in a statement. Words from the Denver Botanical Garden Brochure.
