Description

I didn't post for a little while as I was busy, but here is an Iray test I've made today :) . I'm still a newbie with iray (didn't play with the beta), and I'm not done tweaking my chars with iray shaders (it takes some work... On her, I had problems with the eyes mostly), but it's promosing I think :) - although I shouldn't have used the sun/dome for my portrait - as you can see on the eyelashes shadows lol - HDRIs do a better job for that, but well :) . It took 2 hours on a miserable GT 640 (384 cuda cores), can't wait to test it with a better graphic card. Thanks,

Yes it is slow but the finish render well worth the time I still have Studio 4.6 on the desktop and still make use of it

Thank you for the comments :) - and Miwi, I didn't worry, it will be faster with a better graphic card, but 2 hours is rather fast for a photoreal render anyway (with Poser, I've spent up to 48 hours on a render lol).

Lol! Je ne comprends pas grand chose aux détails techniques, surtout en anglais! Mais ce que je peux dire, c'est qu'après tout, attendre 2 heures après un si joli minois, ça n'est pas cher payé! Un portrait ravissant, Nicolas, beau travail!

Adorable character and beautiful render - Great work on the texture - I like the lighting very much!!! (and gone are the day you are happy with a $69 video card - I see a GTX Titan in your future - lol)
