Description

This is a pretty basic, zero postwork (other than rough-stitching the two images together) test of outoftouch's new IrayPair Hair Shader system. The hair in question is "Janna," light is simple Sun/Sky. Rendered for speed of comparison, not final quality. I essentially just applied the hair texture, added a tint, and added a shine, and then rerendered.

Yes it may well take alot of renders to get the sittings right

Totally -- this was as bare a 'load and render' as I could do, for the head to head comparison -- er, no pun intended. I'm really happy with the shaders -- I like it when things do exactly what they say they're going to do, while being versatile.
