This was taken on Monday at a little village called Hinton St Mary. The bowler had just delivered the ball to the batsman. You will see the action best in zoom.

Cricket was once Canada's official national sport, as declared by Sir John A. Macdonald, Canada's first Prime Minister Cricket has been played in Canada since 1745 (50 years before the first modern Olympics) The world's first international sporting fixture took place in Montreal, 1844 - a cricket match between Canada and the United States.

This indeed is full of action by full zoom! The background with the wide view, and the clouds are interesting too, Jeff.

Nicely shot although I place cricket on a par with base jumping far to dangerous, standing in the way of a very hard ball is not for me.

A great shot full of action. I assume the fellow who looks like he's just been punched in the stomach is the bowler but after that I'm lost.
